# Getting Started

> An introduction for students, parents, educators, and collaborators.

## What is AIO3?

AIO3 develops practical AI and STEM literacy by pairing conceptual understanding with hands-on projects and mentorship. We start from the learner's current readiness rather than treating age alone as a measure of ability.

## How to use this documentation

1. Read [our principles](/about/principles).
2. Explore [learning paths](/learning-paths).
3. Review [lab safety and prerequisites](/lab/overview) before using development tools.
4. Follow changes and propose improvements through [contributing](/contributing).

## For parents and guardians

Hands-on technology learning should include supervision, age-appropriate projects, privacy, safety, and realistic descriptions of what a learner can achieve. Technical labs may require adult-managed accounts or equipment.
